For a person who already reads tarot and just wants an electronic version on their phone, this app is outstanding. Any negative feature (shuffling /drawing slightly tedious) is outweighed heavily by the fact that it’s free and there’s nothing to buy. I have looked at other apps; ones that require a subscription, ones that cost to download, etc. and there’s no reason to download a different app unless your goal is to learn and you wish for that experience to be interactive. There are descriptions for cards but they’re more like reminders than anything in-depth; many readers will disagree with them from time to time. I have been reading tarot since t rex roamed the Earth, so I don’t need an AI description feature. Great job and +5000 karma to whomever made this app.

This is no different than doing a reading on yourself. The cards are random. Right side up or upside down. They give you the basic meanings of the cards like you would find in the booklet that comes with a deck. The rest is up to interpretation, just like doing this yourself with a deck. I like it.

I use this for simple yes and no answers, or one or three card spreads. It really is FREE! Thank you! I’ve been using this app for years, both on my iPad and my iPhone.

I was very skeptical at first about a “tarot app”. I felt like it might take out the intuitive aspect of using the tarot. I have to say that I was very surprised at what came up. It still has good intuition “for an app”. I can only speak for my experience. I hope this helps someone make the decision to use this app. It is well worth it.

This is such an amazing app and it was worth every penny even years later. However when pressing, the journal button sometimes the entire app crashes.

This is the PERFECT tarot app. I can’t even imagine one that could be better. It’s incredibly easy to use. User interface is simple and the functionality is perfect - all that is needed, no unnecessary complications. Draw one card, do a spread, or just explore whatever cards you want in the deck. The amount of information provided in the card interpretations is immense. Not just a few highlights, but truly in depth, quality material. The app keeps track of whatever questions you asked of tarot and the cards you drew, and gives the option for you to add additional comments/ observations. TRULY EXCELLENT!!

I don’t write reviews for apps ever, but this one deserves a 5 star rating! Well worth the price paid. As a beginner with Tarot I learned so much with this app! There is so much information within. Well laid out, simple design. Ad free and ZERO in app purchases which is a rarity in our subscription based world we live in! I highly recommend this app if your learning tarot or interested in it! Instant buy!

the moon card is wrong, the meanings of the upright and reverse of the moon card in this app are opposite of what they're supposed to be.

As a professional tarot reader, i am extremely disheartened by the fact that recently the apps seem to be stuck on the last reading and don't allow you to return to the home page or really touch anything but the cards in whatever reading was done before this became a problem.

All of the divination card apps I’ve purchased from the Fools Dog developer are THE BEST of all this genre of apps. Card images, book transcripts, layout choices are superb! I will never buy card apps from any other developer and I recommend ONLY Fools Dog LLC to all of my students .

This tarot app is the simplest, most straightforward and streamlined app of it’s kind available on the App Store. It has a full catalog of interpretations for each card in the RWS. I disagree with a lot of them, or to put it better my interpretations are often different then the ones provided, but they still serve as a good jumping points. You can choose from a number of different spreads or go completely freeform. You can also virtually shuffle and cut the deck, which adds to the overall experience. Each spread is stored in your journal, which you can type up your detailed interpretations of the spread in a simple text note. There’s also the option of labeling each spread with a specific question. There’s a large assortment of back drops to choose from, which is a neat feature. Overall, this app is the best app out there to read and journal tarot readings with. I own 17 different physical tarot and oracle decks, but lately I’ve been finding myself enjoying using this app and keeping it all contained in my phone. It’s just so easy, and can be done anywhere anytime without drawing attention. I use it while riding in the car, or while waiting for food. And there’s no ads! It’s a godsend. Such a great app for free with no ads. You can’t beat it. So yeah, 5/5 stars all around. Future feature idea: custom meanings for each card. It would be handy to have a catalog of personalized meanings for each card.

This app is full of negativity. It’s really not good to look at the card of the day when it’s almost always so negative. Many times when I had a great day, I’d look at the card of the day at the end of the day and it was always negative. Don’t buy this. You don’t need it and it’s no fun.

I have a lot of experience with Tarot and Tarot’ computer programs. This App is definitely one of the best. I love that you easily could educate yourself more by reading a book on the deeper meaning of the card right in the App. I like that you just pay a reasonable fee for using the App right upfront and then enjoy the App.

Other than that I am grateful to have it but the journal function no longer works for me and hasn’t in at least two years.

Found this to be ridiculous… Some of the cars were so off-base they were laughable, especially when asking about relationships.

This program is the most effective, fluid and handy connection to the wisdom of the ages. We can only pray that future ‘ upgrades’ do not diminish it’s simplicity and brilliance.

Believe, don’t believe, doesn’t matter. Ever morning you get a card that tells you how your da might go. If it’s bad, ignore it, if it’s good, I puts a spring in your step. Something on your mind? Give yourself a reading. It might not foretell the future, but it might help you things through. I’ve had this app for years. I still use it several times a day. I’ve learned the Tarot almost by accident. It’s a fun way to relive stress. I highly recommend it to casual users and people who are serious about the tarot alike!

Just as viable as my physical deck. Some of my deepest readings have come from using this app. The different sources of meanings for the cards are immensely helpful, and I love that I can put in my own meanings as well. There is so much to learn from using this app with the books they have, and the interface makes it incredibly easy to study and take a deep dive into the individual cards. SO MUCH LOVE!!!

I am just learning tarot and I was feeling defeated about ever knowing all 78 cards. This app is so beautiful organized and intuitive. It is such a pleasure to sort through. It is my favorite app purchase I have ever made and I began feeling more confidant in my understanding of the card almost immediately compared to previous attempt to learn the cards. I would love love love if a numerology section would be added. And maybe a section with more info about wands, cups, swords, pentacles. Love this app!

To me, I shouldn’t change a thing about this app. Maybe being able to scroll when making journal entries but that’s really not pressing. This app makes me so happy. Thank you to whoever took the time to make this available.

They put literally included 3 books in this app. You really have to give the creators of this app some appreciation because they readily give you FREE and GOOD resources to use. It’s simple to use and you don’t have to pay for a subscription like the rest of the scam apps on here.

Not only can you do your own custom spread on this but there are also 3 full books on the meanings. The shuffling offers wash, shuffle, as well as cutting the deck for a more authentic experience

I’ve had this app for a while now and I use it daily. My understanding of the tarot has grown immensely now that I have several books at my fingertips. The whole design is just wonderful and the added bonus is that it doesn’t collect data.

Great for beginners just to have a good access to rider Waite Tarot. Wish soma more features were available but the free form spread allows any well taught mage to do whatever spread wise. The card descriptions are worthless but most cards description books a worthless. There a clouple of decent sources in print or on the web but generally functionally this app is able to handle most professional applications as long as you only need one deck.

Great app and over the years it’s been great for learning my actual deck but 70% of the time, it pulls reverse. Reverse is important for readings, so turning it off makes the app hard to trust the readings. Needs some adjustments. When is the last time this app has been updated?

This app is easy to use and extremely comprehensive. There are so many spreads in the app or you can do a ‘free form’ spread. Each card is tapable for more information, and the app even speaks to you. I like to use it on the go for myself and even for clients. So far, it has been spot on.

I use this app every day. It’s a great way to learn tarot. Set your intention , draw a card and learn. It will also save your daily cards with the date for review later and the journal section allows reflection.

Once you get half way down the page writing in the journal, you cannot edit or see what you are typing. This makes the function not usable. This is an excellent way to work and was a selling point for the app. I may request my money back and delete this app. It’s just like any other tarot app without this feature.

I’ve been using this app for some time, probably around two years now, and it has come in handy more times than I can count. The greatest thing about this app is it’s ease of use, especially when doing a reading, you can fire this bad boy up in five seconds, click three buttons, and be staring directly at a very informative description of the card you’re looking for. This alone has helped me countless times to refresh my memory or to help discern the meaning of a particular card in a spread. Another great thing about this app is that, it has three very useful books (one of which includes a few spreads that aren’t listed in the spread area of the app) that help the beginning diviner to understand the cards on a much higher level, even delving deeply into each and every card. Very useful app, overall great for helping you to learn and keep up a sharp edge with the rider-Waite tarot deck

The Amazing “paranormal Karen podcast”, Psychic standup, Tarot Educator Karen Rontowski recommended this app. She is spot on. This app has all the classic RWS info at your fingertips. No more squinting at the little booklet that comes w the deck. Its all here, easy to flip thro. Karen is right, this app is awesome.

Loving this app except that the “input your own external reading” feature does not function. Bummer.
